At United Hearts Association (UHA), we are dedicated to creating lasting positive change in our community through hands-on initiatives and targeted programs. We have rebuilt homes, provided mental health support to ndividuals in crisis, and offered educational resources and scholarships to over 300 underprivileged students. By directly addressing these critical social issues, we have improved the lives of those in need. Victory for Bangalore University's Green Spaces: UHA Successfully Halts Tree Felling.

In a significant win for environmental conservation, Unyted Heartsz Association (UHA) has successfully halted the planned axing of trees within Bangalore University's Jnanabharathi campus. The university's green spaces, vital for biodiversity and cherished by students, professors, and local residents alike, were under threat due to proposed construction projects.

UHA, alongside passionate activists and concerned citizens, mobilized swiftly to raise awareness about the environmental impact of the projects. Through strategic advocacy efforts and community engagement, UHA garnered widespread support, highlighting the importance of preserving these green areas for future generations.

The campaign culminated in a successful petition urging the Chancellor of Bangalore University to reconsider the use of vacant government land instead of encroaching upon the campus's natural habitats. The Chancellor's decision to halt tree felling marks a significant milestone in the ongoing efforts to protect Bangalore's dwindling green spaces.

Supporting Bellahalli: Community Relief Efforts

Bellahalli, a disadvantaged suburb north of Bengaluru, faced severe hardships during the COVID-19 lockdown as its residents, predominantly laborers, lost their jobs and livelihoods. Responding to this urgent need, our members organized a community group and approached Mr. Munindra Kumar, the local councillor from BJP, for assistance.

Mr. Munindra Kumar acted swiftly upon receiving the request, promptly gathering a list of families in dire need. On 2nd May 2020, he distributed essential ration kits to 50 families, providing crucial support during a challenging time. This collaborative effort underscores our commitment to standing together as a community and supporting our neighbors in times of crisis.

During these unprecedented times, UHA's dedication to compassionate action and community support remained unwavering. Through collaborative efforts and a steadfast commitment to health education, we aimed to empower individuals and strengthen community resilience against the pandemic's challenges.

Supporting Palestine: Relief Program with Palestine Red Cross Society

In solidarity with the people of Palestine, our NGO has launched a vital relief program aimed at providing essential support during these challenging times. With the generous contributions totaling 50k, in partnership with the Palestine Red Cross Society, we are actively working to alleviate hardships and offer crucial aid to those affected.

This collaborative effort ensures that humanitarian assistance reaches where it's needed most, addressing immediate needs such as emergency medical care, shelter, and food security. Achieving Our Goal: Rebuilding Abdulla's Home

Thanks to your incredible support, we have successfully achieved our goal of rebuilding Abdulla's home in Kandukur Kottal. Facing the challenges of a leaking hut during the rainy season, Abdulla and his family can now look forward to a safe and secure shelter, all thanks to your generosity.

On 1st July 2023, volunteers from the Unyted Heartsz Association (UHA) visited Abdulla's house. We provided Rs. 6000 to support immediate needs and committed free masonry services from volunteer Shaek Baba to ensure the reconstruction process. With a total estimated cost of Rs. 50,000 for the project, your contributions have made a significant impact in transforming Abdulla's living conditions and securing his family's future. Your kindness and compassion have truly made a difference in rebuilding lives and communities.

Hope Beyond Crisis: UHA's Suicide Prevention Initiative

Compassionate Care: UHA's Animal Welfare Initiative

United Hearts Association (UHA) has launched a transformative Animal Welfare initiative focused on the outskirts of Anantapuram. Our efforts are centered on rescuing and providing essential care to stray animals, particularly addressing the plight of abandoned cows left vulnerable on roads. Through dedicated rescue missions and partnerships with local communities, UHA strives to offer these animals a second chance at life, ensuring they receive necessary medical attention, shelter, and rehabilitation in safe environments.

Amidst challenges exacerbated by neglect and the presence of stray dogs, UHA remains steadfast in its commitment to compassion and advocacy. We advocate for responsible pet ownership and promote awareness about the humane treatment of animals, aiming to foster a community where all creatures are respected and cared for. By joining hands with volunteers and supporters, UHA continues to make strides in safeguarding animal welfare and building a more compassionate society.

Resilience in Crisis: UHA's COVID-19 Relief and Awareness Campaign

During the COVID-19 pandemic, United Hearts Association (UHA) mobilized its resources and community networks to initiate impactful programs aimed at supporting those affected by the crisis. Through our COVID-19 relief efforts, we provided essential aid such as food, medical supplies, and hygiene kits to vulnerable individuals and families across Anantapuram. Collaborating closely with local authorities and volunteers, UHA ensured that no one was left behind during these challenging times, prioritizing the health and well-being of our community.

Additionally, UHA implemented awareness campaigns to educate the public about COVID-19 prevention measures, including mask-wearing, social distancing, and vaccination. By disseminating accurate information and promoting responsible behavior, we aimed to curb the spread of the virus and protect our community members. Through these combined efforts, UHA demonstrated its commitment to serving the community and fostering resilience in the face of adversity.

Hyderabad Relief 2020: Combating Crisis with Compassion

In 2020, amidst the dual challenges of COVID-19 and heavy rains, lakhs of Hyderabadis were in dire need of support. The incessant rains led to inundation in several localities, posing risks of waterborne, vector-borne, and foodborne diseases on top of the ongoing pandemic. Recognizing the urgency, UHA swiftly mobilized relief efforts.

UHA distributed approximately 18,200 food packets at rain relief centers across Hyderabad, providing critical assistance to those affected. This initiative aimed not only to alleviate immediate hunger but also to mitigate health risks exacerbated by the flood situation. Our commitment to serving the community in times of crisis remains unwavering, ensuring that vulnerable populations receive the support they need to withstand these challenging circumstances.

Kerala Flood Relief 2018: Rebuilding Hope, Restoring Communities

In 2018, United Hearts Association (UHA) launched a significant relief program in response to the devastating floods in Kerala. Recognizing the urgent need for humanitarian aid, UHA mobilized swiftly to provide critical assistance to those affected by the disaster. Our volunteers worked tirelessly to distribute essential supplies, including food, clean water, shelter materials, and medical aid, reaching communities in the worst-hit areas.

Through collaborative efforts with local authorities and partner organizations, UHA ensured that relief reached the most vulnerable populations, offering hope and support during a time of unprecedented crisis.
